Call for Participation: Survey on the Welfare of Parking Officers

Are you accountable for the well-being of parking officers on the frontline within your organisation? If so, your participation in this crucial survey is essential. If not, kindly forward this message to the appropriate person.
Why is this important? We aim to gauge the extent of abuse and incidents experienced by parking officers to enhance support systems. We urge responsible individuals to encourage frontline officers to report all incidents of assault, regardless of severity, along with instances of verbal abuse (without specifying content) throughout April via the survey. To prevent duplicate submissions, we encourage collaboration among local authorities, hospitals, universities, contractors, etc., to review survey questions and designate a single respondent. Additionally, individual officers are encouraged to participate, as the survey includes tailored questions for them. Anticipating a significant response, all data will be anonymised.
Deadline for submissions: May 13, 2024. Results will be unveiled at Parkex.
The survey is open for all parking professionals to complete. Additional resources for BPA members can be located here on the BPA’s Frontline Officer Welfare Hub.
